Our interactive and educational tours combine a classroom session with guided dive or snorkel. We start with a lesson in the classroom - a colourful presentation and no studying involved! Then we go for a dive or snorkel, where you will have an interactive experience with what you learned about in class. The things you learn with Sea Elements will enhance the enjoyment of future experiences in the sea.
The classroom portion will be held at Lobster Pot Dive Center, while the water activities will take place at chosen reef depending on weather conditions. Transportation will be by van and/or boat.
Programs are conducted for small groups which ensure a more enjoyable learning experience. It also allows for a program tailored to your individual interests.
Creature & Fish ID and behaviour – guided snorkel or dive
We will combine some of the most intriguing fish, critters, behaviours, and interactions into one experience. Learn about cleaning stations, courtship and mating, and predator/prey interactions. Learn how to identify some species by using key markings and shape recognition. There are so many fascinating animals on the reef and there is an endless amount of behaviour to discuss, observe and appreciate. This program can be tailored to your knowledge, interests and experience level. This course gives you an opportunity to find the answer to the common question, “What was that thing?!?”

Coral identification & behaviour – guided snorkel or dive
This program is designed to promote the desire for discovery and advanced understanding of coral reef ecosystems with a marine conservation perspective. Identify different types of coral and learn about all the dramatic relationships on the reef.
