Stingray City & the Mangrove Forest Tour

Join us for a unique adventure to Cayman’s famous Stingray City and Cayman’s secret mangrove forest. Discover why the mangroves help to protect and maintain the beautiful clear blue waters of the North Sound, the home to Stingray City.

While on the boat next to the saltwater forest we will look for baby fish, seahorses and native birds. After a short boat trip from the mangroves, we will arrive at Stingray City to interact with the rays. A mangrove snorkel and Stingray snorkel are also available by request.

Tour takes approximately 3 hours. Maximum 18 people per tour. Tour may be tailored to individual or group requests. 

Cost: $60 US per adult and $30 per child under 11 years, free under 2 years old. 15% discount for groups over 12 people. 

Discovery Package: SCUBA and Mangroves

This package is designed for non-certified divers and includes the program known as the “Discover Scuba Diving” course. This course provides the instruction you need to safely enjoy a dive with our qualified instructors on an underwater tour of Cheeseburger Reef in George Town Harbour

To further enhance your visit to the Cayman Islands, we have added a guided Mangrove Kayak Tour. Paddling silently through the mangrove forest, this kayak tour will allow you to glide above the ecosystem on comfortable kayaks and enjoy the sounds of nature. You will encounter Cayman’s wildlife in their natural habitat, observing fish, orange sponges, and anemones. Even pet a jellyfish along the way! An experienced guide is there to inform and answer any questions

What it includes:
All instruction and equipment needed to learn to dive safely. The package includes a 3 hour Discover Scuba Diving class at the Lobster Pot Dive Center as well as a 2 hour Kayak Mangrove Tour with Sea Elements. No certifications are earned with this package.

Adventurers Package One

This package is for Certified Divers interested in diving Grand Cayman and the added unique adventure of experiencing Cayman’s only mangrove snorkel tour.

Upside down mangrove jellyfish, or Cassiopeia, carpet the seafloor next to the mangroves, but they are a gentle creature. Discover juvenile fish and nudibranchs among the mangrove roots. Our Snorkel Tour gives a unique perspective of this amazing ecosystem and it is perfect for underwater photographers and something new for the avid SCUBA diver. This is a rare experience you will never forget.

What it includes:
A two-tank boat dive as well as a 2 hour Mangrove & Seagrass Snorkel or Kayak Tour with Sea Elements.
