Catherine Childs is the biologist onboard our mangrove boat tours. Catherine has a Bachelor's Degree in Wildlife & Fisheries Sciences and a Master's Degree in Environmental Science. While she is originally from Texas, Catherine has spent almost 20 years in the Caribbean. Many of those years were spent sailing throughout the islands where she learned much about island groups, their unique ecology, and their equally unique human cultures.

Catherine organized the first Earth Day Festival in the Cayman Islands and created Island Offsets, a non-profit that will allow people to offset their carbon footprint with local projects that will benefit the local community and ecosystems. When Catherine is not busy saving the planet, she can be found spoiling her two young boys.
